Thats a hell of a question. Its what im looking into in my future years of uni. First of all what is it you mean by renewable energy? Most renewable sources such as solar and tidal energy will not affect it. However theres somthing called “biomass energy production” its having worldwide implications for food production/managment and prices worldwide. Its all about using the food that could feed the plantet to generate energy through biomass generators. Through the process of breakdown release of methane and bruning to run generators.
